How Domain Expert works
Make expert knowledge fit the real situation.
An expert brings trusted material. A client brings the details of their own setting. Domain Expert brings them together in guidance the expert reviews before it is published or delivered.

Submit your company overview and requirements for expert review. The expert can accept them together or request clarification on individual details. Drafts generated while that review is pending are provisional. Both the current company knowledge and the document need approval before publication. Original generations, saved corrections, and review decisions are retained automatically and available to the assigned expert.
Expert Knowledge is where experts upload and manage reusable knowledge. Search or explore the 3D map, and use Add knowledge to upload one file or several at once. Expert Review has a searchable client picker and a Needs review filter, with Review company knowledge, Review client SOPs, and Review history in one place. Expert-Informed SOPs has a searchable company picker and an overview of your procedures and their review status. Open Company Knowledge from the sidebar for your overview and Requirements & preferences. Choose Add manually or Upload a file to provide company information. Search the combined list and expand any file to see its text, original, and versions. Review status shows feedback and review cards, newest first. Use View details to see a full historical snapshot; Connected Apps holds your delivery settings. Each page keeps the selected company as you move between them.
Data and AI
Who sees the source material?
An admin must approve your email before you can sign in. Library invitations and expert/client permissions remain separate from app access.
Roles and access
Experts manage their libraries and review client guidance. Clients add company information and requirements in Company Knowledge, then work with their SOPs and connections. You can be an expert in one library and a client in another—or in the same library when explicitly assigned to a workspace. Expert Knowledge shows your expert sources; Expert-Informed SOPs shows your client work. Both Expert and Company navigation groups appear when you have both roles, and permissions follow the library or workspace you open.
Admins approve emails and can assign Expert, Client, and Admin roles together. The sidebar shows your combined access. Roles enable app areas; library ownership and workspace invitations control which documents you can use. On mobile, open the menu to navigate.
Expert documents
Only the expert can open the original expert files and extracted text. Clients see source names and versions for context, their own uploads, and the resulting guidance. Generated drafts and published guidance may reflect the source material.
AI processing
PDFs and DOCX files are read on the server. Images go through AI Gateway for transcription when uploaded. Generating an adaptation sends its selected source text and client situation through AI Gateway to an Anthropic model provider.
Retention controls
AI requests use Anthropic routing with prompt training disabled. Anthropic normally deletes API inputs and outputs within 30 days, with exceptions for legal and misuse reasons. Read the Gateway training control and Anthropic's API data policy.
